The challenge for the Pakistan Microfinance office in the Blue Area was to create maximum indoor areas of interest in an existing structure that had minimal outdoor views. Sticking to an industrial theme throughout, raw concrete textured walls and exposed wiring for ceilings offer a change of pace in this office interior. Slim, matte black louvers work as ideal partition screens for different programs by offering a touch of separation and connectivity. Lastly, to cater to the lack of external views, curated plantations can be seen in the small, outdoor terraces so that employees can have both natural light and accompanying greenery whenever they peer outside.
